Rye, NH is one of the most charming sections of thew 17-mile long stretch of Seacoast in the State. A Newport-writ-small, it has some impressive private homes overlooking the bluffs where the first settlers lived, before making peace with the Native Americans and moving to Portsmouth.
This is scenic stuff, folks, particularly in its mid-summer glory!
