Boundary Stone Public House in Washington, DC

The Boundary Stone is named for the 40 surveyor’s stones laid out to mark the District of Columbia in 1801.
Located in the Bloomingdale section of the District, directly on Rhode Island Avenue (Route 1), the Public House is a well-conceived gathering place for adult beverages, food and entertainment.
My friend, Effron White was in town during his summer tour and I met up with him there and heard him play. Effron is a wonderful songwriter, based in Nashville.
The atmosphere at the Boundary Stone was laid back, arts-driven, and community minded. The bar staff were friendly and helpful. The menu is varied, and the food was excellent. So many craft brews, so little time….
