Dock or drive along Route 1 to Papa Joe's Waterfront Islamorada
There’s always been a lot of horsepower and a lot of fun at Papa Joe’s since 1938.
From boat clubs to car clubs, to poker runs, to cornhole competitions and everything in between.
A real one-stop-shop in the Upper Keys where there’s never a dull moment.
It’s family and dog friendly, with a relaxed atmosphere and backyard tiki bar with lawn games.
Dropped by here several times on the way to Key West and the food has been fantastic.
We had spicy margaritas with tuna nachos and the plantain crusted Mahi Mahi for dinner.
If you have your boat down there for fishing you can get one of their waterfront fish camp suites upstairs above the restaurant and Papa Joe’s can be your headquarters for your whole trip.
They are closed Wednesdays and Happy Hours is from 4 to 6 daily, and they don’t take reservations.
Party on!
