Flamenco Roots + Rock Star Leads: Rodrigo & Gabriela

Rodrigo & Gabriela reinvented themselves during Covid.  Their flamenco roots still show through, especially in Gabriela’s playing that is a rhythm section unto itself, but sets up Rodrigo’s leads with solid progressions and riffs.  Rodrigo has transformed into a rock star!  His electrified guitar performance takes his playing to an entirely new level, while Gabriels holds down the amplified nylon stringed acoustic.  This sampling of their concert should give you an idea of the range of visual and auditory brilliance we experienced.  For those of you who haven’t visited Longwood Gardens, there’s another view that’ll give you an idea of what it looks like during the day.
