Key West Gem - Garbo's Grill

Walking down Duval street in Key West, we reached the corner of Caroline street, which reminded us of Jimmy Buffett’s 1976 song “Woman Goin’ Crazy on Caroline Street”, as we strolled down we came upon the sign for Garbo’s Grill and the aromas drifting our way.

 

Operating out of an a shiny Airstream trailer located at Hanks Hair of the Dog Saloon, it offers a casual outdoor setting with live music daily from 11 am to midnight.  

 

This is an award winning food truck that was featured on “Diners, Drive ins and Dives” twice. 

 

Garbo’s Grill shares the backyard with Hanks (where you can get your drinks) and it surely is a Key West gem when it comes to great food at a good price. 

 

The fresh fish tacos are delicious and the Korean beef barbecue is fantastic along with their Yum Yum shrimp burritos.  By the way, Guy Fieri had the omami burger with fresh garlic, and chipotle gouda.

 

There’s a Happy Hour daily from 4 to 6, and of course, it’s very dog friendly.
