Miamians Love Knaus Berry Farm

Miamians are in line early in the mornings to taste Knaus Berry U Pick Farm’s famous gooey, fresh baked cinnamon rolls. 

 

This family owned business has been operating since 1924 and locals love to pick their own strawberries and tomatoes when in season.

 

In 1956 two brothers, Ray and Russell Knaus began raising strawberries together in the Redland of south Florida, and they set up a small roadside stand.

 

In the beginning some of the strawberries were sold through a broker who tasted the cookies made by Ray’s wife Barbara. He told her that they were good enough to sell, so along with fresh baked goods, they have local honey, fresh vegetables and ice cream, especially their strawberry milkshakes. 

 

If you’re looking for farm fresh produce, this place is a one stop shop, and fun for the whole family.
