If you are looking for an escape from the busy streets and town, Latitudes on Sunset Key is just a short boat shuttle from downtown provided by the restaurant to paradise.
As you step off the boat, the atmosphere changes as you reach the exclusive island Sunset Key, with it’s sweeping views of the Gulf of America and tables illuminated by flickering torchlights.
The restaurant sits within the luxury resort Sunset Key Cottages.
This is upscale romantic dining, as you’re seated at your table right along the beach as the sun begins to set the sky transforms into brilliant shades of orange, pink and gold.
It’s easily one of the most beautiful sunsets anywhere in the Florida Keys.
The island inspired cuisine includes chargrilled octopus, Key West pink shrimp, pan seared yellow tail snapper, lobster bisque, Oysters Rockefeller, seared scallops, filet mignon, crab cakes and key lime pie.
Reservations are a must, but it’s easier to get a table at breakfast or lunch.
There is a deal on Tuesdays, 2 for $20, two domestic beers and two burgers for $20.00 at the tiki bar.
Dress code is business casual and flip flops are not acceptable.
