Party at Jimmy Johnson's Big Chill Key Largo

Heading South from Miami on Route 1 to the Florida Keys, the first place to party hard is at mile marker 104 in Key Largo at Jimmy Johnson’s Big Chill.

 

Jimmy is the former coach of the Dallas Cowboys (where he won two Super Bowls), the Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami football teams. The NFL Hall of Fame coach has been a resident of the Florida Keys for over thirty years. 

 

This amazing entertainment complex features a restaurant, huge tiki bar, fantastic sports bar (memorabilia everywhere), pool area, daily live music, sunset views and a diverse menu of sea food, pizza and tropical drinks.

 

With breathtaking views on the Florida Bayside of Key Largo, the main dining room is all glass and the deck is set on the water where you see boats, sailboats, kite surfers and jet skis. 

 

The pool area is open from 11 am to sunset(which are remarkable), where there is a $25 charge for adults and $15 for children, under 12.    If you really want a rock, you can have a pool side cabana for $250  for up 6 guests.  Then at Pirate’s Cove at the beach, you can arrange for a jet ski rental.

 

This very vibrant mini-resort has a Ladies Night on Tuesday’s and Happy Hour is Monday – Friday from 4-7.
