Sakura, Right On Route 1, Is A Place That You Have To Visit!

Sakura is an all-you-can-eat sushi, seafood, and grill buffet in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and my first visit completely exceeded my expectations. I went for lunch and was truly impressed by the enormous selection, the freshness of the food, and the exceptional value. For just $15.95, the lunch buffet offers an incredible amount of variety, making it a great option for anyone who enjoys sushi, seafood, Asian-inspired dishes, or simply having plenty of choices. Drinks are purchased separately, but they come with free refills, which makes the meal an even better deal.

The sushi area alone is worth the visit. There were many different sushi rolls to choose from, along with regular sushi and sashimi. Whether you prefer familiar rolls or want to try a variety of seafood, there is plenty available to sample. And those are only some of the choices—there were many more selections throughout the sushi bar, so it would be easy to return multiple times and try something different each visit.

The appetizer selection was also much larger than I expected. In addition to seaweed salad, dumplings, and other Asian-style starters, Sakura offered items that you would not necessarily expect to find at a sushi buffet, including fried mozzarella. There were many more appetizers available beyond the ones I tried, with options for people looking for lighter bites, fried foods, seafood, and traditional buffet favorites.

The hot-food section had an especially impressive range of dishes. Some of the standout choices included coconut shrimp, beef lo mein, sesame chicken, fried scallops, raw oysters, fried oysters, hot and spicy crawfish, black pepper chicken and shrimp, short ribs, hibachi steak, and eggplant with garlic sauce. There were also many more hot entrées and side dishes available, so even someone who is not interested in sushi would have plenty to enjoy. The variety made it easy to build several different plates, from seafood-focused dishes to noodles, meats, vegetables, and fried favorites.

To finish the meal, Sakura also had a dessert section with a variety of sweet options. With so much available across the appetizer, sushi, seafood, hot-food, and dessert stations, it is hard to try everything in just one visit.

If you are ever driving down Route 1 in New Brunswick, NJ, Sakura is definitely worth a stop. The combination of a huge selection, delicious food, free drink refills, and an all-you-can-eat lunch price of only $15.95 makes it an amazing choice for lunch or dinner.
