The Bailsmen at Lagniappe Miami Beach, FL

It was just our luck to find a gypsy swing band from Brooklyn on tour in Miami Beach. Since 1928, musicians have used Route 1 to go on tour up and down the East coast.

Katy Dolle’s video explores what it feels like for the band to be on tour and the origins of their band name and their music. The venue, Lagniappe House, was voted a top 20 wine bar in the US by Wine Enthusiast. This is NOT a Miami DJ dance club!
