Prepare to be whisked away to a journey of simpler bygone times when Soda Jerks were the coolest cats in town and Sundaes were the currency of choice.

Right on Route 1 Jaxson’s is like stepping into your grandparents attic.  The jukebox is playing rockabilly tunes and if you have ever cranked homemade ice cream, you remember the smell of when that lid came off.

You are instantly enveloped by a Kaleidoscope of memorabilia.   Walls are adorned with historical artifacts,  from old movie posters,  to classic toys and bicycles.

This family-owned operation has been making their own ice cream here since the 1950s.  Scoops of ice creamy,  dreamy goodness are generous, so your cone might top over at any time.

The rite of passage here was created by founder Monroe Udell called “the kitchen sink”,  which is actually served in a design of one.   The ultimate sundae creation features one pound of ice cream per person (you choose your flavors), with toppings galore.

Families flock here and they have a huge assortment of candies and gum from the 50s and 60s to share with your kids.

This scrumptious trip down memory lane is like getting a hug from your grandmother.
