An Iconic Orange, Restored near Melbourne, FL

John Margolies captured this Indian River road stand in 1990. I was shocked and pleased to see it restored to its former glory 31 years later. The orange sits right along Harbor City Boulevard (Route One) in Eau Gallie. It is nothing more than a landmark, now. Which is good because I certainly wouldn’t want to be inside of that orange on a hot Florida summer afternoon!
