The Christmas Forest LLC of Maine
Located on Route 1 and County Road 190 in Perry, Maine, a forest adventure awaits. Walk through ¼ of a mile of woodland paths lit with spectacular holiday lighting. It’s truly a magical place, and one you will want to visit again and again.
In its first year, The Christmas Forest is a destination for all ages. I brought my teens, thinking they would indulge me with their company. We were all pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the location was.
Hot Cocoa is available for purchase on the weekends, and there is a gift shop available as well. Over 50,000 lights were hung and several statues were throughout the walk. Synchronized music light displays, a 20-foot light tunnel, many photo-op areas, a 20-foot tall Snowman, and the largest Santa in the state of Maine! The trail is around a quarter mile long but has been opened into several paths so you can fan out and come back around if there are crowds. There are also several benches throughout the forest to accommodate those that might need a rest.
Open from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm every day except Fridays.
