It all began when Major League Baseball posted a 15 second video from a Florida Marlins “Bark at the Park Day” baseball game, showing fans feeding a hot dog to a small white dog in the stands, while a brown dog watched intently with a jealous expression.
It was captured “It’s tough seeing others live out your dream”.
While the TV camera caught him sadly thinking “how could he get so lucky”, the video went viral with over 26 million views and the remarks were hilarious:
“That lab mix is staring at the hot dog like it owes him $”.
“Dogs fixate hard on treats and hot dogs are basically crack to them and watching another dog score is torture”.
“This is how my dog watches me eat every night”
“It’s a dog eat dog world out there”.
Fans were talking about setting up a Gofundme page for the dog or even a Venmo account.
The Marlins found out the dog’s name is Jonah and he’s a rescue dog.
So Jonah finally got his ballpark frank he deserves and his own dream day at the Marlins game in a luxury suite to watch Sunday’s game against the Guardians with his owner.
