Fun at the Key West Film Festival
With the laid-back tropical setting of Old Town Key West, you would expect a good time to be had by all.
The 12th Key West Film Festival included features, shorts, documentaries, along with numerous special events and theme parties.
The loss of Jimmy Buffett hung over this gathering as famed author Jimmy Buffett Buffett’s brother-in-law Tom McGuane spoke about the halcyon days of the Conch Republic back in the seventies with the showing of his film. “All That Is Sacred”, with the after party at the Key West First Legal Rum Distillery.
Jacqueline Duran a two-time Oscar-winner, who was most recently the costume designer for the “Barbie” film attended the Barbie theme party.
After the screening of Sofia Coppola’s “Priscilla” there was an Elvis themed party
It happens down there all along Route 1.
