Grab your pups and hop aboard a 75 foot sailing catamaran that’s loaded with treats.
While S/V Argo Navi’s is famous for their sunset and brunch cruises where you sail out of the historic Key West Seaport, they came up with a real winner for those who just couldn’t leave their pets at home: a Doggy Day Sail.
The boat is loaded with goodies from cocktails, premium wine, Florida craft beers, craft food, gourmet cheeses, smoked fish dip locally baked breads and chocolates.
Of course there are snacks and special treats for the dogs. $20. of each ticket is donated to the Florida Keys SPCA.
They offer a stable and comfortable two hour sail with a professional, attentive and friendly crew.
This is a dress down cruise, “Sail as you are” and there’s no music, so you can hear the sounds of the wind and waves. Of course you have your headphones if you feel like you need some Jimmy Buffett.
By the way, this ship was the last commercial sailing boat built in Key West.
The Doggy Day Sail’s are held on select Saturday’s, but you can bring your dog on one of the other cruises, as long as you let them know ahead of time.
Tickets run around a $100 per person.
