Surfs Up for Tater Tots and Friends at Cocoa Beaches Canine Surfing Extravaganza
Canines conquered the waves at the East Coast Dog Surfing Festival.
Over 5,000 Spectators watched and heard names shouted like Tater Tot, Willy Good Dog, Jax, Sammy, Wednesday, Marley and Snuggles while shredding the waves with their owners directions.
This Easter tradition on Cocoa Beach was the 13th annual Brevard Humane Society East Coast Dog Surfing Festival, which was held at Lori Wilson Park.
Sammy the Chiweenie, a cross between a Chihuahua and a Dachshund, successfully defended his 2024 title by taking the top spot in the competition.
The festival was sponsored by Ron Jon Surf Shop and also featured a canine bikini contest and an Easter outfit contest.
