Fenway Park - Boston, MA
Fenway Park is a baseball stadium in Boston, Massachusetts. It is the home field of the Boston Red Sox, one of the oldest teams in Major League Baseball. Fenway Park was opened in 1912 and is the oldest baseball stadium still in use in the United States. The stadium has a seating capacity of approximately 37,000 and is known for its distinctive features, such as the “Green Monster” left field wall, which is only 310 feet from home plate and the “Pesky Pole” right field foul pole, which is only 302 feet from home plate. Fenway Park has played host to many famous moments in baseball history, such as Babe Ruth’s record-setting home run in 1918 and the Red Sox’s dramatic World Series win in 2004. The ballpark also has a vibrant atmosphere, with Red Sox fans known for their passion and loyalty, often referred to as the “Red Sox Nation”.Matt Lambros Jan 20, 2023 Boston MA Architecture History Sports
