I live just off Route 1 in a 1862 Victorian farmhouse

My house is sandwiched between the old Atlantic Highway (RTE1) in Stockton Springs, Maine and the new Route 1 road which runs behind the house. I am a visual artist, gardener, and airbnb host living on the edge of this fabled highway—which in my locale is dotted with flea markets, abandoned houses, grand homes, diners, and motels.
