Key West Christmas Parade

We had checked into our room at the Duval house on Duval Street when we found out the Christmas parade was coming. We had no idea that tonight was the big night on the island.

For two hours we shared a wonderful vision of happiness and sincere gratefulness. It really felt like a small town parade as Conchs of all ages participated.

The kids were darling, and the adults were all beaming with happiness. Colorful lights and floats and classic cars drifted by as they threw candy to the children.

I don’t know when I have felt more in the Christmas spirit than I did that night.
