Now a check cashing establishment in Colonial Heights, just outside of Petersburg, Landa’s was a classic 1940’s restaurant catering to traffic along Route One before I-95 had been built, as depicted in this vintage post card, courtesy of the digital commonwealth of Massachusetts Tichnor Brothers collection.
