Here’s another image from John Margolies’ “Roadside America” collection in the Library of Congress. I wish there was a corresponding image of this sign in the snow. The sign, without the diving lady, but with some of the neon intact still stands at 98-102 East Grand Avenue. The 30- unit motel, built in 1960, was sold in October, 2020 for $792,200. Here’s hoping the new owners put the diving lady back up!
