Nothing Bundt Cakes is a chain bakery specializing in of course, bundt Cakes. Bundt Cakes are round donut shaped cakes, baked in a specialized bundt pan. The American cakes get their origins from a German cake known as Gugelhupf. They come in a variety of flavors and are typically drizzled with a thick frosting or glaze.
Nothing Bundt Cakes was founded in 1997 by Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz in Las Vegas, Nevada. The bakery quickly took off and over the past 27 years has rosin to become the number one specialty bakery in the United States, with over six hundred locations nationally. You can find multiple Nothing Bundt Cake locations along route 1, including one not far from their Princeton location, in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Nothing Bundt Cakes offers a large selection of flavors and sizes for their bundt cakes. During my visit, I had a taste of both their lemon and red velvet flavored bundt cakes. Both cakes were cool, moist, and wonderfully dense. They were packed with flavor and topped with a thick and delightful frosting. Nothing Bundt Cakes frequently offers limited time and rotating flavors. Their large variety of flavors currently includes carrot, vanilla, strawberry cheesecake, Oreo, confetti, lemon, strawberry, red velvet, chocolate, white chocolate raspberry, chocolate chip cookie, and lemon raspberry.
Nothing Bundt Cakes makes for a fantastic sweet treat after dinner or on the go with their smaller sizes. Or if you’re in need of a full sized cake, those are available as well, and could certainly make a delicious and interesting addition to any party or special occasion!
