Gulfstream Park opened in February 1939
The Park has changed ownership several times. In 2010 the track was purchased by The Sronach Group and remains strong to this date becoming a stepping stone to the Kentucky Derby thoroughbred contenders.
Gulfstream Park is family friendly with thoroughbred horses Racing 🐎 while Dad is placing bets and Mom is sipping lemonade in front of the JumboTran. You are free to get close to the horses and take photos and or videos as they exit the paddock onto the track.
I was happy to see how well the horses were cared for. The Handlers were smiling and very gentle and kind, hosing the horses for cool down before leaving the track. The horses look Healthy and Strong, which makes for an Exciting, Cheering, and FUN DAY AT THE RACES. (JUST OFF Route 1)
