Lobster Roll -among the best! - Narragansett, RI

Monahan’s Clam shack, next to the RI State fishing pier #5 on the ocean side of a teensy traffic circle at the south end of the seawall in Narragansett Beach. They serve up a fine lobster roll. Simple is best for me, beginning with fresh lobster meat, plenty of salted butter, and the ol’ hot dog roll. I’m on a quest to find one that’s even better! Monahan’s was a filling station, a restaurant, a dairy bar, and a neighborhood clam bar hangout.
