Step into a Time Machine of Fun at the Delray Beach Classic Pinball Arcade

In a world where everything moves so fast, it’s refreshing to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasure of playing games.

With over 150 Classic Pinball and arcade games to play,  it’s like stepping into a time machine when these arcades were where we loved to be.

Walking through rows of meticulously maintained machines,  you can almost hear the echoes of high scores being celebrated and friendly rivalries being born.

Each machine tells a story  not just of the game itself,  but of the people who played them,  their memories and the many saved quarters spent.

Whether you are a pinball wizard or a complete novice, it’s a fun and engaging way to learn about the past while having a blast in the present.

The exhibits and information provided alongside the machines offer fascinating insights into development of pinball arcade games.

Machines dating back to the 1950s sit next to those from the 1980s, offering a fascinating timeline of pinball evolution.

Clearly the Silverball Retro team have a genuine passion for pinball as the care they have taken preserving the machines.

The friendly staff is always ready to share a tip or a bit of history on the machines.

The weight of the flippers, the sound of the ball hitting the bumpers,  with all the bright neon lights is a sensory experience that draws you in and keeps you entranced.

You marvel at the intricacies of the artwork and designs that went into each machine.

You will find yourself getting lost in a  round of Pac-Man,  Donkey Kong,  Frogger,  Space Invaders,  Pong,  or the bank of Skeeball machines from 1952 Coney Island.

All the games are set to free play so there are no coins required.

An hour pass is $15 and all day pass including cheese pizza is $25.   A half day is $17.50, while kids 4 and under are free with adult supervision.   Late night closer after 10:00 p.m. is $10.

Happy hour is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with 50% off all drinks.

    Open 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 am daily.
