The bar is housed in a historic three-story building from the early 1900s, that originally served as a boarding house and later as a brothel catering to the sailors and seamen who visited the famous port.

In the 1920s during prohibition it became a speakeasy and continued to operate as a gambling den and smugglers hideout, making it a notorious spot in the Key West underworld.

The ground floor is The Bull,  an extensive open-air ambience bar with daily live music by local performers, surrounded by images of Henry Flagler, Tennessee Williams and Mel Fisher.

Upstairs is The Whistle, a spacious bar with pool tables and games with a wrap around balcony that reminds of the French Quarter,  overlooking bustling Duval Street which is a great spot for people watching.

Put $2 into the breathalyzer on the wall and see how many countries you are legally drunk in.

The third floor is the Garden of Eden rooftop bar that promotes a clothing optional policy,  providing an audacious and liberating experience, along with  panoramic views of the island.

They also offer free body painting and there’s a live DJ.
