Inspired by the legendary Long Key fishing camp the Valhalla Island Resort will be situated on 175 acres and a mile of beachfront property.
Founder and CEO of Bass Pro Johnny Morris announced groundbreaking has begun on the new nature-based Fishing Resort. In 1972 Morris an avid angler began selling fishing lures out of the back of his dad’s liquor store in Springfield, Missouri. Morris is known as the most visionary and influential retailer over the last 50 years with his success of Bass Pro.
Resort accommodations will offer one to four bedroom Cottages with restaurants, a spa, swimming pools, marina, lodge and general store hidden beneath hundreds of palms.
This will be the largest resort property in the Florida Keys and construction will be completed in 2 years.
