Fantastic Farm to Table Fare in Northport, ME
The Hoot was started in 2018 by Anna and Jon Poto, a young couple who were also starting a family. The food is locally sourced, including meats and vegetables from Anna’s family’s farm. I enjoyed a wonderfully prepared shakshuka, a swiss chard & eggs dish based on an East African recipe. Not all of the menu selections are as adventurous as the shakshuka.
