National Navy SEAL Museum
Dive into the secret world of Navy Special Warfare at the birthplace of WW II’s FROGMEN. The museum is dedicated to the History and Legacy of the underwater demolition teams (UDT), which became the SEALS, an acronym for sea, air, and land denoting their ability to go wherever they’re needed to complete their mission.
There are impressive and humbling exhibits about the 1960s when they recovered spacecraft and astronauts from the space missions, SEAL TEAM 8 that brought down Osama Bin Laden, a terrific film about the history narrated by Gary Sinise, and assorted weapons artifacts and tactical vehicles with many interactive exhibits.
The grounds outside the building have several great exhibits, and you can walk to the beach from their parking lot.
