My visit to the Good Stuff Thrift Store was a very positive experience. It is right on the Route and has ample parking. The expansive retail space is well organized, with areas for furniture, clothing, housewares, digital media, books and toys that are easy to browse in order to find an item you might want to buy. The space is neat. No dusty corners or jumbled goods in a box! Even the rest rooms are well maintained. There was no waiting at the checkout, even though one of the staff was taking a phone inquiry.
I was there just after Thanksgiving, so there were many seasonal holiday items out for sale. If you’re tired of waiting until after the holidays to get bargain prices on your holiday decorations, only to store them away for 11 months, this is a place you can get instant gratification!
While you are doing well shopping for clean, reasonably priced wares at Good Stuff, you are also doing good. Their operation benefits children and their families from pregnancy to education, counseling, and advocacy for kids with special needs. They also accept donations if you have housewares that you no longer make use of or if you’re clearing out your attic.
