Lorelei Giant Mermaid Islamorada Florida

For decades the Lorelei Giant Mermaid has stood at milepost 82 in Islamorada.

According to German folklore Lorelei was a vengeful mermaid whose beauty lured sailors to their doom.

Lorelei is also the fantastic waterfront seafood restaurant behind the sign that has awesome views, live music, beautiful sunsets and a tiki bar.
