

Saving Sea Turtles Lives in Juno Beach, Florida
This is a five-star Haven for sea turtles, a real hospital for beloved sea turtle patients and a rare look into the world of marine life rescue.
Located in Juno Beach, there are daily programs and tours to inspire guests of all ages. Including public and guided tours, there is a junior research lab and a veterinarians lab, a virtual reality theater and the kids fishing program.
This sea turtle research rehabilitation, education, conservation center also manages the Juno Beach fishing pier across the street from the park.
There’s also an outdoor ecosystem teeming with sharks, rays and other marine life.
Sea turtles hatch in the late summer and fall months in Florida. This means you might see a swarm of infant Turtles fighting their way to sea between August and October. They are most active at nights, once in the water hatchlings are consumed by seabirds and fish while few survive to adulthood with survival estimates ranging from one in 1,000 to 1 in 10,000. Sea turtles natural lifespan is estimated between 50 and 100 years.
Remember they are threatened and protected it is illegal to touch, feed or interfere with them.
