Sign of the Month for June, 2022 from Morrisville PA
There aren’t many times that I’ve decided to turn around when I’m on the highway. Sure, if I’ve missed a turn, then I need to go back and get it right. If I left the iron on or I’ve forgotten to lock a door at home, then I’ll turn around if I can’t get a friend to help me out. In short, it has to be important for me to turn around. Impulse buying fireworks isn’t on my “important things to do” list. Don’t get me wrong, they’re great, it’s just that I wouldn’t ever (and I hardly ever say “ever”) make a U-turn to buy them, no matter how big and bright the sign is. Apparently the Sky King people thought their billboard strategy would work. You see all kinds of adventurous marketing ploys along Route One. This one was especially curious and kinda galling.
