The Jantzen Diving Girl in Daytona Beach

The iconic Diving Girl that sat atop Stamie’s Smart Beach Wear for 52 years next to the beach in Daytona was removed in 2018. The lithe 16 foot long fiberglass mannequin was restored for almost a year and then was moved to One Daytona, an entertainment complex near the NASCAR race track. She sold a lot of swimwear in her day, but now she’s just a selfie backdrop with a makeover.
