Wild Bird Sanctuary Florida Keys

“Laura Quinn Wild Bird Sanctuary ” Serves as a humane and natural refuge for over 40 species of birds,

cared for in a beautiful safe environment.  In the sanctuary there are over 90-non releasable birds with disabilities ranging from: Not being able to fly, Feed themselves or walk, they need..T.L.C.

I have great respect and admiration  of Laura Quinn’s Love and devotion to our feathered friends. She has not only created the wild bird sanctuary in Tavernier Florida, you can also experience The love and care of these birds when they are rescued… There is the The Laura Quinn Hospital and Wild Bird Mission from there they go to the sanctuary.  Where the public is welcome to experience the variety of aviary while walking along a self guided boardwalk with educational signs. The tour ending at a Bay that glistens with a Key West style sunset.

Love the owls! This sanctuary is so different from the one closest to me, the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education, which cares for amphibians and small mammals in addition to birds.
