Book covers illustrated by L. Frank Baum adorn the wall in the museum lobby gift shop. The memorabilia will take you back to your 1st time seeing the Wizard of OZ.
There are photos of the construction of Dorothy’s infamous house and how they created the tornado riddled home. So many informative and never before known stories. My favorite when a quick wardrobe of the wizard’s jacket was needed, they came back from a last minute stop at a thrift store only to discover it was L. Frank Baum’s actual coat, all kinds of fun stories and beauty to take in as you follow the yellow brick road to the Enchanted Land of OZ.
My husband contacted his friend who owns one of the last remaining pair of the “Ruby Slippers” we have posted here an exclusive photo.
The tour lasts between 1 and 2 hours and is very reasonably priced and a great place for photos.
