Just off of Route 1 in Robbinston, Maine, sits a brightly painted building called the Grace Episcopal Church. Now a museum, this church was built in 1882 by Dr. Peter Henry Steenstra, a minister from Massachusetts, who lived in Robbinston during the summer.
By 1993, services ended and in 2000 the Robbinston Historical Society purchased the building to turn it into a museum.
The Grace Episcopal Church is listed in the National Register of Historic Places in Washington County, Maine, and is still beautifully preserved by volunteers.
