With close to fifty historic combat aircraft this collection is one of the largest on the east coast.
Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum, which was established in 1977, is a 30,000 square foot hanger which contains the collection of rotary wing aircraft from World War I to present.
The Memorabilia Hall is loaded with flight gear, dress uniforms, weapons and artifacts.
Their flagship aircraft is at Douglas C 47 SkyTrain called “Tico Belle”.
On the second Saturday of the month they offer a champagne flight on the “Tico Belle”, a light breakfast with the crew in era appropriate uniforms for 45 minutes of actual flight time.
Admission runs $22 with additional discounts, while the champagne flight is $250.
