Don Hudson is a potter with a big heart. He rescued “Blue” because the shelter where Don found him could not afford to treat the pit bull puppy. Don took Blue home, paid for the treatment, and brought him back from the brink.

Don was also magnanimous with his time for my benefit, giving me several interviews about the history of potting in North Carolina, and its ties to Route 1. That’s for another view, though!
