It’s not often that you find a place where you can take a friend or family member with special needs and spend a whole afternoon in a peaceful country setting surrounded by trees and horses.
Right off Route 1 in Flagler Beach, Florida is the Whispering Meadows Ranch,
where kids get to be Cowboys for the first time.
The volunteers here make it easy to feel accepted and hang around people that hug a lot and just have a good time.
Watching how these amazing horses bring confidence, joy and healing to the riders is something you’ll never forget.
It’s a heavily shaded property with trails, and sitting areas, as well-trained horses.
All of the horses here are healthy and happy. Everyone is patient, gentle, with hands- on assistance.
