Dolphin Rescue Center

These guys rock!   They rescue dolphins that are hurt and traumatized from as far as Texas.   Their lagoons are loaded with dolphins. and each has his own story.  Some were born here, some adopted, but then the awesome part is when they get here they have a forever home.  Since 1984 through education research and the Rescue Dolphin Rescue Center promotes communication between marine mammals, humans, and the environment.  I even learned that bottle nosed dolphins have a world population of over 600,000 and can cruise up to 22 mph.

You can donate directly to care for a particular dolphin by their very cool names.  They’re often looking for interns here what a blast that would be.
