For over seventy years when folks drove Route 1 down from Miami to the Keys before they got to the 7 Mile Bridge at Mile Marker 47.5, they stopped at the 7 Mile Grill.
For locals and tourists visiting nearby Sombrero Beach this has always been a great hangout for food and fun.
This is Dockside Dining where you can pull up by your boat too for ice, cold beer, wine and some of the best Greek and Mexican food in the Islands.
Of course their fried baskets are famous, along with seafood that has an Italian flair to it.
But this is an American grill where you can get home-made corn beef and hash, sausage with biscuits and gravy and some of the best black grouper and mahi mahi sandwiches around these parts. Conch fritters and key lime pie are great here too, and don’t leave your dog in the car because they’re welcome.
There’s even jet ski rentals in the back if you wanna take a spin and Saxophone Sundays always crank out some good vibes.
It’s open daily from 7 am to 9 pm and it’s always better heading to Key West on the full belly.
