We stumbled upon a shopping paradise along Route 1 heading to the Florida Keys, situated at the crossroads between the peninsula of Florida and the beginning of the Keys.
The moment you turn off the road into the parking lot, it’s not your usual mall outlet experience.
Palm trees with terracotta rooftops, white stucco walls, arched walkways, bubbly water fountains, music, with colorful tropical flowers.
It’s more like visiting an open air Mediterranean hotel.
It seems like you’re already on “Island Time” as no one seems to be in a big hurry.
We saw people trying on bathing suits ( you can always use another), loading tote bags with sandals, sunglasses, diving masks and sorting through bright towels.
Of course they have the usual designer stores like Coach, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Tommy Hilfiger, Guess and Polo Ralph Lauren. With some of your favorites like Nike, Adidas, Crocs, Puma, and family shopping like the Gap, Old Navy, American Eagle, Oshkosh and Bath and Body Works.
With 55 retail outlets and dining options for the dedicated bargain hunter and there’s some fascinating people watching.
So whether you’re hitting the outlet at the beginning for your sun and party needs or the end of your trip on your way home to pick up a few souvenirs, there are bargains galore just waiting.
