Get Up Close and Personal with Wildlife at Brevard Zoo's Kayaking Tours
The Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, Florida is the only zoo in the country that has kayaking tours around the animal exhibits.
The zoo is home to more than 650 animals representing more than 165 species.
Paddle the wetlands area around the zoo to see giraffe, rhinoceros, zebra, flamingos, lemur, ostrich, kangaroo and more.
You can go off alone or with a guide.
Kayaking tickets are only $12.95 from the Kayak Beach in Expedition Africa.
A lot of fun for family and friends right along Route 1.
Admission prices to the Brevard Zoo are $32.95 for adults (12 and older)
Seniors are $27.95, children 3 to 11 is $21.95 and children under three are free.
Florida residents 65 and older pay only $8 per person.
Kayaking is only an additional $12.95 per person.
The zoo is open from 9:00 to 5:00 daily
