Mother Earth's Seasoning Rack - Homestead's Fruit and Spice Park

Immerse yourself in the only Tropical Botanical Garden of its kind in the United States.

Founded in 1944, the Fruit and Spice Park is a 37 acre wonderland that’s right for botanical exploration and sure to tantalize your senses,  with over 500 varieties of fruit, vegetables, nuts, spices and herbs.

From the parking lot, the aroma of Jasmine and spices fill the air as your horticultural escapade awaits.

Meandering through lush pathways lined with some of the most exotic produce you might never have heard of, the guides here are like walking  encyclopedias with a pension for storytelling.

Your eyes and cameras feast upon the vibrant colors of fruit dangling from branches and your taste buds will sing with every new flavor you taste.

It’s a Botanical Buffet, where most of the garnishes and sweet treats grow on trees.

Take a look at the Brazilian grape tree  Jaboticaba, whose fruits sprout directly from the trunk or Central America’s Hogplum, that’s tart with a tangy flavor thats packed with health benefits.

Wander through the parks’ Spice Section, and you will encounter vanilla orchids, cinnamon trees and allspice plants.

Families love the park for its educational values and kids seem more likely to eat their fruits and vegetables after they have seen them dangling from a tree or bush.

Make your way to the Mango Cafe where the menu features fresh produce from the park.

There are variety of plants, spices and fruits for sale.

Daily tours, tasty tours and private tours are available.

    Open 7 days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and there’s plenty of parking.
