Sign of the Month for July, 2022 from Mystic Connecticut

Directly on Route One in the little hamlet of Mystic, Ct is the pizza joint that inspired a hit movie that launched the career of Julia Roberts in 1988.  Mystic Pizza lent its name, but not its location to the film.  The movie was filmed in nearby Stonington.  Today, Mystic Pizza is still a popular destination for those looking to satisfy their culinary curiosity or buy a tee shirt with the Mystic Pizza logo.  The film was directed by Donald Petrie (Miss Congeniality, Grumpy Old Men).
