The Sunshine State

The Sunshine State boasts countless beaches where you can enjoy sand, sun, and palm trees, and hunt for seashells. Since the 1870s, retirees, and snowbirds have found refuge from harsh northern winters. Watch alligators and crocodiles from a safe distance, but get close when bird-watching or while snorkeling on a coral reef.
